Dear Team!
Thank you again for the great success Selina had during and after the dolphin therapy.
We decided to stay for 3 weeks because Selina does not like water and we thought she would need a week to get used to it. We were surprised though, because she participated well from the beginning thanks to the great therapy team and accepted the water and the dolphin “Frosia”.
Selina is a child with multiple disabilities, with the Ohtahara syndrome and epilepsy. She has a similar disease to Rene Treitler. We have known family Treitler Sandra, Erwin, Lisa and of course Rene for several years and have been following the therapies Rene has been doing, and we can only confirm that this was the best thing that could have happened to our children and our families!
We look forward to seeing you in 2009!
Many Greetings to everyone

Therapy Report Nico Herrmann
We were able to visit the Dolphin Therapy Centre in Antalya for a second time this year.We knew beforehand that the Therapy Centre had to move and we were very interested to see what changes had been made. At last the time had arrived and on 16.06.2008 we made an early morning start from Cologne to Dalaman. As on our previous visit a Transfer was awaiting us at the airport to take us to the hotel. Great dolphin therapy for Florian

Report: 1. Dolphin therapy from 02.07.-13.07.2008 Sieberer Florian
We want to first say thank you to Linda and Barbara for a great therapy with Florian!!
Even if it was a bit difficult for Florian and us at the beginning, the new surroundings, a new therapist and such a big animal in the water-it was a lot to process. After a few days we had gotten comfortable and felt great.
Of course we were all very curious and excited about what was waiting for us in Antalya. We started at 3am and got to the airport very late, had to take a 2 hour bus ride from Dalaman to our hotel and were happy when the journey was over.
The first two days we had time to get used to the climate and the surroundings, which was good but at the same time we could not wait to get started. Read the rest of this entry »

Pauli talks a lot about dolphin therapy
Posted by Dolphin Therapy Team in Therapy TestimonialsNo Comments »/Written by Sabine Harzke
Dear Axel & Elena,
we are very happy that you have not forgotten us. We will see if the young man contacts us. Pauli talks a lot about his dolphin therapy and asks for Uncle Axel and Elena and Salih and Feliz. We bought a therapy bike mid June for Pauli and our child, that could never ride a tricycle, or pedal on a bike, sat on it and rode off.
It was an indescribable feeling and we would have never thought that it would be possible to do a bike tour to grandma and grandpa (3 km away from us). It was like a little miracle. Read the rest of this entry »

Timo with dolphins
Posted by Dolphin Therapy Team in Therapy TestimonialsNo Comments »/Written by Family Voss
Dear Veronika and Axel Linke,
Timo can suck again and drink from the baby bottle. He could not do this for four years. Veronika, can you remember how he was smacking his lips with Frosia? The last years we have had to thicken his drinks and feed him with a spoon so he would not choke on it. Please reserve us a spot next year in the holidays from 02.06.09-13.06.09. I will write more detailed in a few weeks.
Many greetings from Munich to everyone!
Elke

Finally I had the chance to meet Flip today 🙂 This was our first day here in Antalya.
Me and my daughter were so excited. There is nothing to compare this feeling. I’ve booked the first free period for Wednesday, so I hope the wonder will be continued. You can be proud of your trainers. They are so enthusiastic, full of responsibility and kind..Congratulations! For the idea, too. Read the rest of this entry »
Paul benefited greatly from dolphin therapy
Posted by Dolphin Therapy Team in Therapy TestimonialsNo Comments »/Written by Sabine Harzke
Dear Axel, dear Elena and dear (Pauli’s) Elena,
Now time has gone by quickly again and a lot has happened. Again, Paul has benefited greatly from the therapy. His pronunciation has become a lot clearer and he can sing wonderfully “wrong”. He also came a long way with his motoric skills and we are very happy about this. Paul keeps asking about Elena, but also about uncle Axel and Elena. Sali and Feliz are also often talked about. I cannot send you a mini-disco video yet Axel, it is not finished yet. All in all we are so happy to have spent such a great time with you. It was very well organised, just like last time and the new therapy center is wonderful. Lots of greetings to Feliz and Sali, the Hippo Therapy was great. We often visit your website and we are planning to come again, probably in 2009. In hopes that we will see you again soon, and hear or read from you until then, we leave you with warmest greetings for the whole team.
Paul, Michael and Sabine Harzke

Dolphin therapy of Jessica Sophie

Experience Report of the dolphin therapy of Jessica Sophie Stock from 13. to 27. October 2007
Dear “Dolphin-Team“,
I am now sitting here and trying to find the right words to describe our experiences and impressions from October, but it is not that easy. Where do I start? Best to start with our daughter: Jessica Sophie was born July 2004 and was born two months early. Her health conditions were first attributed to her premature birth.
However, after a while we could not believe this anymore. A long period of physicals and hospital stays began. Then, beginning of 2007, the diagnosis: Coach-Syndrome. What is this?
It is a very rare metabolism disease, worldwide only 20 cases are known. Thus, there is not much experience with this disease, but the University of Washington in Seattle is currently researching it. So now we had a name for the condition of our daughter, but this did not really help us much. It was recommended that we do physiotherapy and early intervention with her.
