How are you? Well I hope after a busy summer – you are coming to the end of the season aren’t you?
Hello everyone – Barbara, Alejandra, Ramona, Irena, Rick, Ventura, Axel and everyone who remembers us.
Firstly I have to apologise for only writing now. I have been adjusting to being a stay-at-home-work-from-home mom. The time has just flown by and suddenly its been almost 5 moths since we were in Marmaris. For us it feels like it was a life time ago but also like it was yesterday – we are very nostalgic and look at our pictures and talk about our time there all the time. We would love to come back again so we have to work on that plan. (more…)
We managed to fly with Nico to the dolphins again this year!
Naturally there was no question of ‘where’, we flew to Marmaris in turkey. Nico was already excited at the airport, he knew where we were going. We are always very pleased to see you again. This time too Barbara was Nico’s therapist and Daisy was Nico’s dolphin. That eased Nico’s settling-in a lot.
Nico had had a few set backs through hip surgery so it was good for him to have a therapist that knew him. He was able to engage himself quickly with many things and they worked well together. (more…)
We have written you a mail as promised!
We are the Himaduna family and we were with our little Meridian in Marmaris! Meridian is autistic and we were most anxious about whether he would accept the company of dolphins!
The first few days were a little difficult because everything was new for him. Later he was pulling us to the dolphins and everything else was just as super as the dolphin therapy! eg. the Hippo therapy. Not only did he have a lot of fun but also the whole family! (more…)

Hello, we are the Goetz family and took part in Dolphin Therapy from 04.05.2009 to 18.05.2009.
In Marmaris: Jasmin has had six operations and is physically and mentally disabled (muscle spasms). It was our first Dolphin Therapy and also our first flight so we were all a little nervous. (more…)

Dear.Barbara,
sorry that I am writing to you only now, but until yesterday my computer was out of action. Now at long last I can send you Nico’s report! But more important is…….. WE MISS YOU !! NIIICHOLAAA is very well: he is always laughing, reacts a lot better when spoken to, holds more often eye contact and is generally more open! Another good thing is that Nico can now manage his toilet himself without any help. The only drawback is that he enjoys it and the child always stinks.
I hope the report is to your liking and that you can use it all! If you cannot open it or if you only receive the text without pictures let me know and I will use a different programme. Oh dear, it is such a shame that you are such a long way away! Please say hello to everyone for us (especially Suna, Claudia and Anett ) and give Daisy a biiiiig kiss and an extra fish from Nico! Dear Team!
Thank you again for the great success Selina had during and after the dolphin therapy.
We decided to stay for 3 weeks because Selina does not like water and we thought she would need a week to get used to it. We were surprised though, because she participated well from the beginning thanks to the great therapy team and accepted the water and the dolphin “Frosia”.
Selina is a child with multiple disabilities, with the Ohtahara syndrome and epilepsy. She has a similar disease to Rene Treitler. We have known family Treitler Sandra, Erwin, Lisa and of course Rene for several years and have been following the therapies Rene has been doing, and we can only confirm that this was the best thing that could have happened to our children and our families!
We look forward to seeing you in 2009!
