Follow-up Report about progress made by Mara since the Holtgrave Family’s Dolphin Therapy

Hello Barbara!

Sorry, that i am writing only now – but time is passing really quickly!!

Mara is now in her new play school! And it went very well! She has blended in very well – play school is no big deal for Mara!

She has really made enormous progress – even in the past weeks! Somehow she has grown up – losing her first tooth making room for a new one maybe has something to do with appearances – but also inwardly…..she managed so well with changing play school, in between she was on holiday with her Uncle, even learnt to ride a bike there (naturally one had to run alongside) – it’s a lot of fun with her, especially to witness these developments enfolding – which we put down to her dolphin therapy! “Schblasch”, answered Janik Schröder beaming at the question to what “his” dolphin was called. This “Splash” had decisively contributed to the fact that Janik can now live with more self-confidence. The 16 year-old Jasmin Götz is physically and mentally seriously disabled and also blind

Jasmin Götz had a very unlucky start to her life. Even though a heart problem had been diagnosed shortly after her birth she was given oxygen over a long period on the grounds that she had too little oxygen in her blood. It was too much oxygen, though, due to her heart condition her little body could not absorb and produce it, says Hettwig, her mother. By the time the machine was turned off the brain was seriously damaged and Jasmin was blind. Since then she also suffers from so called Tetraspasticity. Read the rest of this entry »
